Cookies and local storage
Draft — last updated 2026-10-13
This page is in English for now. Estonian and Russian translations are pending legal review.
In short
Bilketa uses only what is strictly necessary to work: a session cookie to keep you signed in, and the display choices you make on this device. We use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Because everything we store is essential, the law does not require a consent banner, so we do not show one.
We do record the cost of work done for each organisation (for example reading an invoice or price list with an AI model) on our servers. That operational metering uses no cookies or browser storage, relies on our legitimate interest in running a sustainable service, and is never used to build behavioural profiles.
Preferences stored in your browser
| Key | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
ek-theme, ek-motion, ek-sidebar, ek-catalog-view, ek-catalog-sections, ek-money-precision (localStorage and a cookie of the same name) | Remember the appearance, motion, sidebar, catalog layout and price display you choose on this device. The cookie lets our server draw pages that way from the start, so they do not flicker on load. | One year, or until you change the choice or clear site data |
ek-basket-pill (cookie) | Whether the basket bar is shown in its small form. | Until you close the browser |
ek-count-in, ek-supplier-groups (cookie) | Whether you count each product in pieces or cases, and which supplier groups you folded, so pages open that way from the start. | One year, or until you change the choice or clear site data |
Your language is part of the address (/et/…, /ru/…), so we do not
need to store it.
Third parties
We load our fonts (Figtree and Manrope) from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when fonts are downloaded but sets no cookies. Cloudflare carries traffic to our servers and may set strictly necessary security cookies to protect the service from attacks. See Subprocessors.
Optional purposes (not active)
We may later offer optional product analytics, extended error diagnostics, AI improvement and product update emails. None of these is currently active. Each is off by default, will only start with your consent, and can be withdrawn at any time in Settings → Privacy. No non-essential cookie or browser storage is written before you consent. If we switch any of them on, we will update this page and the Privacy policy first and ask you.
