Terms of service
Draft — last updated 2026-10-13
This page is in English for now. Estonian and Russian translations are pending legal review.
These terms
These terms are an agreement between Aleksei Baranovski ("Bilketa", "we") and the business that uses Bilketa (the "customer", "you"). The person who accepts them confirms they are allowed to bind that business. Bilketa is a service for businesses; it is not offered to consumers.
Our Privacy policy, Data processing agreement and Cancellation and refunds policy form part of these terms.
The service
Bilketa helps businesses order from suppliers that take orders by email. It:
- reads the invoices, price lists and other supplier documents you upload or forward to your Bilketa address and builds a searchable catalog of products, pack sizes and prices from them;
- lets you search that catalog and fill one cart across all your suppliers; and
- turns the cart into one order email per supplier which, after you review and confirm it, is sent from your own Gmail account.
The same features are available to your own scripts and AI agents through our API and MCP server, within the limits described below.
Accounts and organisations
- You sign in with Google or with an email address and password. Keep your credentials safe and tell us promptly at [email protected] if you think your account has been misused.
- A customer organisation's workspace (a "tenant") can have several members with different roles. The organisation is responsible for who it invites, the roles it gives them, and what they do in its workspace.
- Information you give us about your account and business must be accurate.
Sending from your Gmail
To send orders, you connect a Gmail account and grant Bilketa permission to send email on your behalf. We send only messages you have reviewed and confirmed, and never read your mailbox. Messages are sent as you, so you are responsible for their content and recipients, as you would be for any email you send. Google's own terms continue to apply to your Gmail account. You can disconnect at any time.
AI-extracted data
Bilketa uses AI models to read invoices, price lists and other supplier documents. Extraction is checked automatically where possible (for example, that line totals add up to the invoice total) and uncertain lines are flagged for your review, but AI-extracted data may contain errors: wrong products, quantities, units, pack sizes or prices.
You must review order emails, including products, quantities and supplier addresses, before you send them. Prices in Bilketa come from past invoices, price lists and offers your suppliers sent, and are not themselves offers from your suppliers; your agreement with each supplier decides what you pay. We are not a party to your orders or your contracts with suppliers.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Bilketa to send spam, unsolicited marketing or anything other than genuine orders and order-related messages to suppliers;
- upload content you have no right to use, or that is unlawful or malicious;
- try to access other organisations' data, probe or bypass our security, rate limits or budgets, or disrupt the service;
- reverse engineer the service except where the law allows it;
- resell or provide the service to third parties without our written agreement.
API keys and automation
You can create personal API keys to automate Bilketa (for example uploading invoices or price lists from a shared folder, or connecting your own AI agent). Each key belongs to you, works for one organisation, and can do only what its scopes and your role allow.
- Do not share keys. Keep them out of front-end code, public repositories and shared documents. You are responsible for everything done with your keys.
- Rate limits and budgets apply. Requests are rate-limited, and actions that use AI (such as document processing) draw on a daily and monthly spending budget per organisation. Requests above a limit are refused with an error rather than queued.
- We may suspend or revoke keys that appear leaked, that show unusual spending, or that are used abusively or against these terms, and we will tell you when we do.
- Keys that can send orders to suppliers (
orders:send) are off by default. Grant that scope only to automations you trust to email your suppliers. - Within API version 1 we make only backward-compatible changes and announce deprecations at least six months ahead.
Your data
You own the data you put into Bilketa: supplier documents, catalog, supplier details, orders and everything derived from them for your organisation ("customer data"). You give us permission to host, process and transmit customer data only as needed to provide the service to you, as described in the Data processing agreement. We do not use customer data to train AI models, and we use an organisation's documents to evaluate or improve our extraction only if the organisation owner opts in.
You can export or delete your data; see Deleting your data. You are responsible for having the right to upload the data you upload, including any personal data about your staff and suppliers.
Fees
Billing is not live yet. When paid plans start, prices and billing terms will be shown before you subscribe, and cancellation and refunds will follow our Cancellation and refunds policy. We will not charge you without your agreement.
Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep Bilketa available and your data safe, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without a guaranteed uptime unless we agree one in writing. It depends on third parties such as Google, Anthropic and Cloudflare. We may change or remove features; if a change materially reduces what you pay for, we will tell you in advance.
Liability
- Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit, lost revenue, lost goodwill or the cost of replacement goods, including loss caused by a wrong or missed order.
- Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period, or 100 EUR if you paid nothing.
- These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent or gross negligence.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using Bilketa and delete your account at any time. We may suspend access, or a specific API key, immediately if needed to protect the service, other customers or third parties, or if these terms are seriously breached. Otherwise we will give you at least 30 days notice before ending your access, so you can export your data.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. We will first try to settle any dispute by talking to you. If that fails, disputes are decided by Harju County Court (Harju Maakohus) in Tallinn, Estonia.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will notify account holders at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can stop using the service before then. Questions: [email protected].
